Job Title: Senior Risk Consultant

We are seeking an experienced risk professional to join our team within the banking and financial services industry.

  • A degree qualification in a related discipline, such as finance, commerce or law, is required.
  • You should be a seasoned risk analyst with expertise in operational risk management, ideally within the financial services sector, and with experience in assurance or audit.
  • A deep understanding of regulations and industry best practices is essential.
  • You should have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • You must be able to analyse complex issues and identify potential solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work in an agile environment are also essential.

The ideal candidate will have experience in risk management and control and be interested in helping businesses design and develop their control environments to manage operational risk. You will be involved in supporting the business in managing material risks and controls, collaborating with stakeholders to understand end-to-end processes, and developing relationships with key stakeholders.

As a senior risk consultant, you will share learnings and leverage expertise across the broader organisation and industry to implement best practice controls.
