Data governance is a crucial aspect of ensuring the integrity and security of an organization's data assets. A data risk consultant plays a vital role in developing and implementing enterprise-wide data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement data governance frameworks that align with business objectives
- Work closely with business units to embed governance practices and educate stakeholders on data management best practices
- Conduct data risk assessments to identify and manage risks tied to data management and regulatory requirements
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, articulating the business value of data governance and risk in a non-technical way
- Lead and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, operating at both strategic and executional levels
- 10+ years' experience in data governance, data management, or information governance
- Recent experience in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 consulting firm
- Strong experience drafting data governance policies and standards
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills
This is a mid-senior level contract position requiring strong conceptual thinking and a business-first mindset.
