Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Operations Director to join our team. As a key member of our operations staff, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing and overseeing all systems, processes, and safety protocols to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Managing project completion handovers from pre-opening builders and project management teams.
  • Developing and maintaining safety and maintenance protocols that align with local regulations and brand standards.
  • Liaising with contractors, engineers, and suppliers to oversee works and ensure seamless operation of building systems.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure maintenance needs are addressed promptly and with minimal disruption.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record of experience in a similar leadership position within hospitality or commercial building management, ideally in a pre-opening environment.
  • Trade qualification or engineering background preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, health and safety regulations, and compliance reporting.
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on and proactive approach.
  • A leadership style that inspires trust, teamwork, and accountability.
  • Possession of valid Australian working rights.
