Health Safety Officer for Distribution Network

This position requires an individual who can provide exceptional support in maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental performance across our distribution network.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide operational HSE support to our network by regularly visiting all service centres
  • Support training and practical assistance with HSE-related management systems and initiate system and process improvements
  • Develop and review HSE-related procedures, forms, and processes for all service centres, ensuring industry best practice and standardisation
  • Engage with internal trainers and assessors as required
  • Lead regular safety walks, task observations, hazard identification, internal audits, and other HSEQ-related assurance activities across the networks
  • Participate in or lead incident investigations and ensure quality standards of incident findings and timely corrective action management
  • Facilitate department-level and task-based risk assessments, including operational risk register reviews
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Essential Skills:
  • Certificate IV in WHS or equivalent qualification
  • C Class Provisional Driver's license
  • Incident investigation training/experience
  • Aptitude for production planning and time management
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills
  • A team player with a positive attitude
