Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our data analytics function. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Databricks-based data pipelines and models.

About the Role

  • Design and build data solutions on Databricks to power core reporting, analytics, MLOps, and generative AI initiatives
  • Create scalable and reliable data integration pipelines with a cloud-native approach
  • Oversee and coordinate the data engineering and analytics team's efforts to ensure timely delivery of high-impact analytics solutions
  • Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to translate requirements and maximize business value from data
  • Contribute to strategic planning and the team's roadmap, aligning initiatives with organizational priorities
  • Mentor team members and foster a collaborative environment
  • Establish data standards, governance, and best practices
  • Identify opportunities to improve data architecture, tooling, and automation across the data platform

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience as a Data Engineer building and scaling solutions on a major cloud platform
  • Mastery of the full analytics development lifecycle, applying modern software engineering principles to build production-grade solutions
  • Demonstrated experience leading technical teams; people love to work with you, and you're known for elevating those around you
  • Excellent communication skills, engaging both technical and business stakeholders at every level
  • A passion for data and a drive to set high standards of data delivery
