Job Title: Airport Services Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and safety-focused professional to join our team as an Airport Services Officer. This role is critical in ensuring the safety, security, and integrity of the airport, aircraft, and travelers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safety and security of passengers and their possessions through consistent and standard screening practices.
  • Coordinate the flow of passengers through security screening efficiently.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and sound decision-making skills.
  • Control access to and exit from security-sensitive areas.
  • Undertake physical searches of passengers and baggage where required.
  • Provide high-quality customer service to passengers.
  • Maintain terminal amenities and associated buildings through general cleaning tasks.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (AV120118)
  • Red Aviation Security Identification Card
  • Acceptable National Police Check
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service in a complex environment
  • Ability to deal with conflict and achieve resolution
