Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated mechanical engineer to lead the design, analysis, and development of mechanical components and systems for complex electronics and defense-related applications.

About the Role
  • Design & Engineering: Lead the design, analysis, and development of mechanical components and systems, leveraging 3D CAD software and other relevant tools.
  • Documentation & Testing: Develop and manage detailed BOMs, drawing packages, and configuration-controlled documentation, as well as conduct technical proposal efforts and support internal and external design reviews.
  • Project Execution: Contribute to technical proposal efforts as part of a program capture team, and support project execution and customer-facing projects.
  • Customer & Team Interaction: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, interface with machine shops and fabricators, and communicate effectively with customers.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • 5–7 years of mechanical design experience, preferably in electronics packaging, aerospace, or defense applications.
  • Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
  • Familiarity with PCB layout, electronics housing design, and digital/RF packaging standards.
  • Working knowledge of Air Force TOs, metrology tools, and mechanical inspection processes.
