Electrical Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Victoria, Australia. With a strong track record in electrical engineering design and project management, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality designs for overhead lines, underground lines, and distribution substations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality engineering designs for various projects, including overhead lines, underground lines, and distribution substations.
  • Contribute to reviewing project scope and provide recommendations to enhance project constructability costs.
  • Apply industry standards and Safety in Design guidelines to ensure compliance.
  • Lead design teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Mentor junior engineers and technical officers to develop their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in distribution design projects.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Understanding of Safety in Design practices.
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent qualification.
  • RPEV accreditation is advantageous.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD drafting.
  • Experience with Revit and NEARA would be beneficial but is not essential.
