About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Client Services Officer to join our successful team in Stafford. As part of this role, you will work directly with our valued clients and provide excellent customer service. The successful candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and process multiple concurrent requests efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and support clients' needs via phone, email, and face-to-face communication
- Promptly answer phone calls and emails to support client enquiries
- Liaise with the bottle dispatch team to complete tasking of client container order requests
- Prepare quotations through the LIMS and assist with tender and expressions of interest preparation
- Coordinate the receipt and dispatch of client samples to ALS Environmental laboratories, including liaising with laboratory staff when urgent samples are received
- Work with internal stakeholders to complete investigations through the ALS Quality Management System
- Occasionally assist with sorting, packing, labelling, and distributing samples by courier or for pick-up
- Liaise with clients regarding sample submissions and related queries
- Join and nurture a team culture to best support each other and our clients' priorities
Requirements:

- Strong, consistent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work without compromise
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Office suite
- An ability to multitask, to process multiple concurrent requests efficiently and accurately
- An ability and interest in working autonomously, whilst leveraging and investing in team connection and priorities
- An understanding or interest in learning and delivering laboratory safety protocols in the handling of chemical hazards
- Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills

- Ability to absorb and retain high levels of information
