SAP MM Consultant Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled SAP professional to lead our SAP S/4HANA transformation journey in Materials Management.

  • Lead and support data migration activities from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring seamless integration of MM-related tables, data structures, and tools such as SAP Migration Cockpit and LTMC.
  • Configure and implement SAP MM solutions in the S/4HANA environment, optimizing procurement, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
  • Act as a lead consultant during SAP MM implementation and rollout projects, including S/4HANA greenfield or brownfield deployments.
  • Provide post-implementation support, resolving functional and technical issues, and implementing enhancements to meet changing business requirements.
  • Ensure seamless integration of SAP MM with other modules such as SAP SD, WM, PP, and FI/CO, leveraging the simplified data model in S/4HANA.
  • Customize SAP MM to meet specific business needs related to material master data, procurement workflows, stock management, and vendor collaboration.
  • Collaborate closely with business users to understand requirements, provide expert guidance, and deliver solutions that align with operational goals.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including procurement teams, IT leadership, and implementation partners, to ensure project alignment and success.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, and user manuals tailored to S/4HANA.
  • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate SAP MM configurations and migrated data.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and innovation using S/4HANA capabilities such as Fiori apps, MRP Live, and Advanced Procurement.
