Job description

cbs Australia is the subsidiary of cbs, a leading international consultancy headquartered in Heidelberg, Germany. We deliver high-end quality consulting and technology services to large industrial corporations that run SAP. Currently we are looking for SAP Logistics & EWM Senior Consultant to join as part of our team.

Position: SAP Logistics & EWM Senior Consultant

Location: Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane

Module: SAP EWM, MM and WM

Role Overview:

  • Lead SAP Logistics & EWM solution design and execution.

  • Support ECC to S/4HANA upgrade projects with full-cycle implementation expertise.

  • Act as a client-facing consultant, providing strategic solutions.

  • Conduct top-down workshops on S/4HANA feasibility.

  • Work independently, managing end-to-end project cycles.

  • Travel within Australia & New Zealand (ANZ), with limited APAC travel.

Key Requirements:

Must-Have Skills:

  • SAP EWM & Logistics: In-depth expertise in EWM, MM, and WM.

  • Full-Cycle Implementation: 4-5 complete project cycles, including Greenfield & Brownfield.

  • S/4HANA Migration: Hands-on experience in ECC to S/4HANA transitions.

  • Client-Facing & Solution Design: Proven ability to lead SAP solution delivery.

  • Integration Proficiency: Strong understanding of SAP module integration.

  • Project & Workshop Management: Experience leading regional projects & client workshops.

  • Security Requirement: Australian Citizenship required (potential NV clearance for public projects).

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in SAP Logistics projects.

  • Communication: Strong English verbal & written skills.

  • Autonomy: Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Debugging & ABAP: Understanding of SAP code and debugging skills.

  • Industry Experience: Consumer products, retail, pharma, or manufacturing.

  • MNC & Global Template Exposure: Experience in MNC environments.

  • Pre-Sales & Client Engagement: Exposure to pre-sales and solution presentations.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, any other science topic or business.

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in SAP Logistics /EWM modules

  • Understanding in integration topics to other modules

  • Hands-on project experience in S/4HANA is an advantage.

  • Technically focused, good knowledge of ABAP (read, debug, write simple programs)
