Visual Merchandising Manager Role

The role of a Visual Merchandising Manager is pivotal in driving the visual identity of stores, ensuring that all aspects of store displays and layouts are aligned with the company's brand strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing innovative store layouts using AUTOCAD software;
  • Coordinating workflow across high-profile supplier promotional activities, ensuring priorities and timelines are clear to team members and stakeholders;
  • Designing and developing store layout concepts, floor plans, and fixture designs;
  • Providing expert recommendations on appropriate layouts and fixtures for stores and contributing to new store design initiatives;
  • Scheduling communication and project managing all fixture moves, new fixture installs, and high-profile promotional executions;
  • Developing calendars for upcoming promotions, changeovers, fixture installs, and executions;
  • Collaborating with the merchandise team, inventory, store operations, and VMs to develop processes from head office to store level;
  • Directly liaising with store management teams regarding visual merchandising matters;
  • Leading the visual merchandise and stores team across all stores to ensure guidelines are followed and all promotions are set up on time;
  • Maintaining regular store visits to all airport stores.
Your Key Accountabilities

You will be accountable for delivering high-profile supplier promotional activity on time, on brand, and within budget to meet financial KPIs;

Working closely with internal and external parties to deliver creatively strong and innovative high-profile supplier promotions;

Ensuring visual merchandising guidelines are constantly updated and managing training expectations in-store, providing leadership, support, and development as required.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking an individual with proven creative flair and experience backed by solid achievements gained in a retail environment;

At least 5 years' experience in retail visual merchandising;

Able to use AUTOCAD software;

Proven experience in delivering large new stores and refurbishments;

Experience briefing out to external parties promotional activities;

Able to work collaboratively but equally able to influence and manage at all levels of promotional cycles and new store layouts and designs;

Strong organisation and time management skills;

Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills.
