Private Practice Dietitian Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate dietitian to join our team in a private practice setting.

The Role:

- Provide high-quality nutrition care to patients with chronic diseases, including type 2 diabetes, heart disease, weight management, and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

- Work independently with minimal supervision, using your expertise to diagnose and manage patient conditions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Be registered as an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with the Dietitians Association of Australia.\
• Have an Australian Business Number (ABN) or be willing to apply for one.\
• Hold a Medicare provider number or be willing to apply.\
• Obtain public indemnity and liability insurance or be willing to apply.\
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.\
• Have a genuine interest in private practice and a willingness to learn within a private practice environment.\
• Must be available to work on Mondays and Tuesdays.\
• Must be able to start within four weeks.\
• Lives within the western suburbs of Melbourne is desirable.\
• Valid driver's license.\
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.\
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\
• Familiarity with electronic health records systems.\
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.\
• Ability to maintain accurate records and confidential information.\
• First aid and CPR certification.\
