About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Student Placement Opportunity. As a volunteer/student, you will have the chance to gain valuable real-life experience and skills in the disability sector.

About the Team

Our Makeables warehouse is a unique social enterprise environment where you will work alongside a diverse team of volunteers and assisted employees. You will be buddied up with a Job Coach based at our Tingalpa site, providing you with the support and guidance you need to succeed.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to be currently studying a Cert III in Individual Support or similar. You should also have the ability to follow directions and work as an individual or as part of a team. A social, friendly, and easy-going nature is a must, as well as a compassionate approach to supporting individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

To qualify for this role, you will need to hold a current Blue Card (Working with Children) and a NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities). You must also be aged 18 years or over.
