About your role:

Are you looking to volunteer or complete student placement in the booming disability sector? Gain valuable real life experience and skills to kick-start a career in the fast-growing and highly rewarding sector. As a volunteer/student, you will be buddied up with a Job Coach based at Makeables Tingalpa site.

Our Makeables warehouse offers a unique social enterprise experience working with a diverse team of volunteers and assisted employees in a fun, rewarding team environment.

Our employees perform a range of tasks including industrial assembly and pallet production, labelling, screen printing, boxing and packaging for a variety of businesses.

About you

  • Currently studying a Cert III in Individual Support or similar
  • Ability to follow directions and work as an individual or as part of a team
  • Social, friendly and easy going - great people skills is a must
  • Compassionate nature

You will have the following to qualify for this role

  • Hold a current Blue Card (Working with Children)
  • A NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities)
  • Aged 18 years and over
