Job Opportunity

This is a role that focuses on creating a secure environment for patients, staff and visitors at a hospital.

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing assistance, promoting teamwork and responding to emergencies in accordance with instructions and training.

You should have a genuine desire to help others and view interaction with people as a significant part of your role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to requests for assistance from staff, patients and visitors on the hospital campus.
  • Promote a cohesive team environment.
  • Ensure security patrols, tasks and activities are completed in accordance with instructions and training.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with diverse groups.
  • Work cooperatively as part of a team and develop effective relationships with senior management and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Must hold relevant security licences and a current first aid certificate.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in security and customer service in a large client base environment.
  • Ability to work independently and complete all tasks during the shift.
  • Sound understanding of alarm systems, access control systems and CCTV.
  • Experience in communicating and responding to challenging situations with empathy and resilience.
