Job Overview:

We are seeking a Security Officer to fill a key role in our team at Fairfield Hospital.

As a vital member of our security team, you will work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients, visitors, and employees.

Your primary responsibilities will include identifying potential conflicts early on and taking steps to de-escalate them, managing anti-social behaviour, and maintaining a secure environment within a fast-paced 24/7 setting.

A strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service, professionalism, and adherence to relevant health and safety legislation is essential.

You will be responsible for responding promptly to security and emergency alarms, conducting regular patrols, assisting with emergency evacuations, and providing excellent customer service.

Maintaining order within the hospital, managing parking controls, and escalating serious incidents to senior management when necessary.

Our ideal candidate will have a current NSW Security Licence, First Aid Certification, and an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2).

They will possess excellent communication skills, be able to manage high-pressure situations, and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
