Principal Structural Engineer Opportunity

Wood Plc is seeking a highly skilled Principal Structural Engineer to join our Operations business in Perth, Western Australia. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering brownfields engineering services to the Oil & Gas industry.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time or part-time (job share) position available in our Perth CBD office. You will be responsible for leading a team of structural engineers and providing technical expertise to clients. Your experience working on major long-term Engineering Service Contracts in brownfields Oil & Gas will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of structural engineers and provide technical guidance and support.
  • Develop and implement structural engineering solutions for clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks and legislation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized degree in Structural Engineering.
  • Proven experience working in a similar Principal Structural Engineering role, ideally in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and legislation.
