About the RoleThis Principal Structural Engineer will work across FEED / Execution to EPCM delivery, with a focus on design. The ideal candidate will have prior Principal/Lead engineer level working experience in the Onshore LNG, Oil & Gas sectors within an EPCM engineering and maintenance project environment with onshore scope of work.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and delivery of structural engineering projects
- Develop and implement structural design codes and standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 12+ years relevant experience as a Structural Engineer in the Oil & Gas industry
- Experience in Onshore processing facilities and site surveying / scoping
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize
- Experience in the use of relevant software packages (e.g. SACS, Staad Pro)
- Experience in the use of API, AISC and ISO design codes
