**Job Title:** Procurement Specialist


We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process from initial request to final delivery.


**Key Responsibilities:

- Recommend and obtain agreement to the optimum approach to market for the supply, including using corporate agreements.

- Obtain quotes, release requests for tender, evaluate offers and assess the market's capacity to supply.

- Initiate and support supply chain due diligence activities.

- Request and support supplier onboarding to the supplier list.

- Support supplier engagement activities, including negotiations and supplier performance management (where appropriate).

- Manage compliance with procurement processes and ensure all required approvals are in place prior to purchase order release.

- Release purchase orders, ensuring they are complete and accurate prior to release, including clear definition of requirements, cost, schedule, and quality.

- Support confirmation of receipt and payment of suppliers.


**Requirements:**

- Proven previous experience in purchasing/procurement.

- Equivalent experience to or a Certificate III in Supply Chain (Procurement, Material Logistics), Contracting, Business, Commerce, Law, or Finance would be advantageous.

- Broad commercial acumen, particularly in sourcing, quotations, orders, supplier engagement, and delivery management.

- Computer literacy including the use of enterprise reporting systems, Windows operating system, and the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
