Judicial Registrar - Commercial Division Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to fill a five-year fixed term appointment as a Judicial Registrar in the Commercial Division.


The appointed Judicial Registrar will be responsible for:

  • Hearing and determining interlocutory applications
  • Conducting judicial resolution conferences, trial assessments, and directions hearings
  • Managing the self-represented litigants' program
  • Making procedural orders, including orders by consent

In addition to these responsibilities, the appointee will work collaboratively with the Commercial Registry to ensure its systems of work are efficient and effective.


About the Role Requirements

The position requires a legally qualified individual (admitted for not less than five years) with extensive experience in commercial law and a deep understanding of court processes and procedures. The successful candidate will possess superior oral and written communication skills and be able to make timely decisions according to law.
