We are seeking a skilled Community Liaison Officer to support schools in developing vibrant and harmonious school communities.

This role plays a vital part in improving social, emotional, health and educational outcomes for students. Our ideal candidate will have a strong focus on student well-being and academic success.

About the Role
  1. The Community Liaison Officer will work with school communities to develop approaches that promote student well-being and academic success.
  2. This involves collaborating with teachers, parents and other stakeholders to create a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve student outcomes, particularly for disadvantaged groups.
  • Build relationships with local community members, organizations and services to enhance school partnerships.
  • Provide training and support to teachers and staff on culturally responsive practices and diversity awareness.

Requirements

  • Degree in Education, Social Work or a related field.
  • Proven experience working in community engagement and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
