Business Development Expert

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Expert to drive our growth strategy. As a key member of our team, you will provide commercial leadership, oversee financial modeling and analysis, and ensure seamless handovers from new business to operational teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new business strategies and planning processes.
  • Influence and develop a high-performing commercial team to deliver new business growth objectives.
  • Oversee financial modeling, analysis, and rate proposals to ensure accuracy and alignment.
  • Build and maintain standard pricing models and tools to support efficient customer engagement.
  • Establish clear commercial handover protocols and contractual documentation to support a smooth transition to operations.
  • Provide commercial support for tender responses, contract negotiations, and customer meetings.
  • Monitor competitor contract renewal status to identify opportunities 12–18 months in advance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance (CA/CPA desirable).
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in supply chain operations, with a proven track record of achievement.
  • Strong skills in budgeting, KPI performance review, reporting, and commercial modeling.
  • Experience preparing CAM models, business cases, and board papers for approval.
  • The ability to build trusted relationships with customers and senior executives.
  • High-level communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership experience managing a team of diverse and skilled professionals (highly desirable).
