Aged Care Volunteer Visitor: Making a Positive Impact

Our organization is dedicated to reducing loneliness and isolation among older Australians. We are seeking compassionate volunteers for our Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme.
As part of this scheme, you will spend one hour per week (minimum 10 weeks) with a small group of residents or individuals in aged care facilities. These visits are relaxed and social, providing opportunities for meaningful connections and conversations.
We seek volunteers who have empathy for seniors and socially isolated people, and who are comfortable discussing news, current affairs, and other topics. You will also undergo online training and WHS training if required.
Requirements- Proof of Covid-19 and Influenza vaccinations in accordance with government guidelines.
