We are seeking compassionate and engaging individuals to join our Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme. As a valued volunteer, you will spend one hour each week with a small group of residents or individuals in aged care facilities, discussing news, current affairs, and other topics.
This rewarding role involves fostering meaningful connections and providing social support to those who need it most. You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others while developing your communication skills and empathy.
To be eligible for this volunteer position, you must be able to commit to regular visits and complete any required training. We also require proof of Covid-19 and Influenza vaccinations in accordance with government guidelines.
By joining our Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme, you will contribute to our goal of building a stronger community through social impact. Our organisation aims to harness innovation, promote inclusion, and connect communities to drive positive change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spend quality time with residents or individuals in aged care facilities
