Job Overview

Our client is an established SME non-bank lending business specialising in secured commercial lending. We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to take a new product to market, develop a sales strategy & process, and develop existing and new broker partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business development; lead generation, develop broker & aggregator networks
  • Book meetings, run discovery sessions, deliver value proposition
  • Follow up on leads, objection handle and close out deals
  • Identify opportunities to up and cross-sell
  • Maintain healthy sales pipeline of current and future business
  • Inbound & outbound sales depending on pipeline status

Requirements:

  • Proven commercial business development experience
  • Non-bank lending industry experience
  • Commercial lending & secured loans experience (essential)
  • Experience across the full sales cycle from prospecting to close of sale
  • Experience with business development tools (Apollo, Lusha, Mailchimp, etc)
  • Experience working with channel partners to generate leads & referrals
