**Job Summary**

IPA Personnel is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to support the reliability of mechanical plant assets. This role involves managing asset reliability risks, supporting the asset inspection program, and coordinating with the planning department to ensure safe and sustainable execution of inspections.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Support the Risk Based Inspection program to ensure the reliability and safety of mechanical assets.
  • Manage asset life cycle and history information, including asset management plans for all mechanical equipment.
  • Drive the execution and implementation of reliability improvement initiatives in conjunction with the Reliability Engineer.
  • Review the performance of critical equipment and develop plans to improve Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety (RAMS).
  • Provide technical expertise from a mechanical perspective to support production teams and maintain production and process improvement.
  • Ensure new or modified equipment is designed to maximize asset life cycle and limit reliability-related issues.

**Requirements**

  • Qualified mechanical engineering degree.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in working in the manufacturing space.
  • Basic understanding of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).
  • Familiarity with knowledge of Victorian Plant Regulations and relevant Australia Standards/Major Hazard Facilities legislation.
