**Fabrication and Welding Specialist - Day Shift Opportunity**

Our workshop is seeking a skilled fabrication and welding specialist to join our team on a day shift basis. As part of this role, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting engineering drawings to bring complex projects to life.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality MIG & TIG welding on cast and mild steel components
  • Fabricate, repair, and refurbish industrial equipment and components
  • Build and install safety guard rails, structural frames, and custom fabrications
  • Use workshop machinery, hand tools, and welding equipment to meet quality and safety standards
  • Tackle one-off custom jobs and repeat production work with attention to detail

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade qualification
  • Solid experience with MIG & TIG welding, fabrication, and hot work practices
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well with others
  • Current driver's licence and reliable transport
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
