Fabrication and Welding Apprenticeship

This role involves assisting qualified tradespeople in metal fabrication, welding and repair.
As a Boilermaker Trainee, your focus will be on developing core skills while supporting experienced professionals. You'll be involved in servicing equipment, participating in workshops and training programs, and learning how to safely use workshop tools and machinery.
The Opportunity:
Work towards completing a Cert III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking/Welding). Actively participate in training, workshops and educational opportunities to enhance technical skills and expand knowledge.
You will support technicians in performing fabrication, assembly, maintenance and repair of metal structures and components using techniques like welding, cutting and shaping.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety procedures and guidelines.

A willingness to undertake the formal training requirements of this role.
A positive attitude with a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn and interest in the transport industry.
Essential tools and personal protective equipment are required.
Reliable and punctual, with good communication skills.
Must be willing to work in a physically demanding environment and have long-term employment prospects beyond the apprenticeship phase.
