We are seeking a skilled Allied Health Professional to join our Older Person Mental Health Service team at the Department of Health Tasmania.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality mental health services to clients of the Older Person Mental Health Service, based on best practice principles and within a collaborative and multi-disciplinary framework.
- Provide specialist assessment and treatment services to clients and their families or carers.
- Promote community awareness in relation to mental health and act as a consultant to other agencies with regard to the support and management of clients with mental health needs.
- A safe and respectful work environment that recognises individual employee needs.
- A collaborative multi-disciplinary team approach to care.
- Clinical skill development in mental health/dementia care.
- Salary packaging.
- Fitness Passport.
- Satisfactory completion of an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification/program of study and registered with the relevant National Board or, in the case of self-regulated allied health professions, full membership/eligible for membership with the relevant professional association.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Post graduate experience in mental health in relation to Older Person Mental Health Service.
