Senior Financial Management Position

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Financial Manager to lead our finance function, strengthen financial performance, and provide strategic insight to support business growth.

About The Role:

Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of financial operations – from management reporting and budgeting to payroll, compliance, and process improvement. This is a leadership role offering variety, influence, and the opportunity to make a real impact in a dynamic, growing business.

  • Manage the organisation's finance function, ensuring strong internal controls and accurate, timely reporting
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in collaboration with project managers and the leadership team
  • Oversee payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and monthly BAS submissions
  • Manage annual audit, insurance renewals, and compliance with all financial regulations and standards
  • Provide financial analysis and advice to support decision-making and growth opportunities
  • Foster a high-performing, professional finance team through leadership, coaching, and development

Skill Requirements:

To be successful in this position, you will require:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (CPA or CA)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior financial management role
  • Proven financial leadership, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency across Microsoft Office 365
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
