Finance Leadership Position

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented finance leader to make a real impact on financial performance and strategy.

About the Role:

  • Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will collaborate closely with business unit managers to improve financial performance and support sound decision making.
  • Leading a small accounting team, you will oversee month end close processes, maintain internal controls, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • The role also involves building strong relationships, delivering insightful financial analysis, and supporting financial planning activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance and coaching.
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly and annual financial reports.
  • Oversee AP, AR, BAS, and general ledger activities.
  • Coordinate year-end reporting and liaise with external tax accountants.
  • Oversee and authorise weekly and monthly payroll processing.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial internal controls and processes to ensure compliance and best practices.

Requirements:

  • CPA/CA qualification required, with a degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Strong people leadership skills with a passion for team development.
  • Proven experience in business partnering or management accounting, including budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
  • A strong understanding of accounting standards, internal control frameworks, and month-end close processes.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
