We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Industrial Efficiency Specialist to join our team at CEVA Logistics in Orchard Hills NSW.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity for a driven professional to make a significant impact on our contract logistics warehouse business operations. As an Industrial Efficiency Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying process improvements, driving profit improvements and efficiencies, and providing guidance and support to sites to enable them to successfully conduct and complete Kaizen activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with sites to improve their processes in line with LEAN and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Deliver project improvements with focus on identifying opportunities, process re-engineering, driving efficiency through process change, and redesigning and implementing operational layout changes
  • Provide guidance and support to sites to enable them to successfully conduct and complete Kaizen activities and through training, coaching and data analysis
  • Develop and maintain BPE tools: such as 5S & Scheduling tool, performance boards, productivity reports, utilisation reports
  • Guide and drive our operations teams to achieve and maintain target levels on our site accreditation program

About You:

We are looking for a tertiary qualified professional in industrial engineering, logistics and supply chain management, industrial design (or similar) with solid experience gained in a related role in any industry (preference for logistics / supply chain, manufacturing, resources, or related).

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with utilising process improvement tools, Kaizen, Lean, etc.
  • Clear communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations
  • Strong MS Excel skills including use of VLOOKUPS, pivot tables (bonus: VBA, Macros)
  • Bonus: 2D drawing/design experience in AutoCAD or similar
