Job Title: Energy Regulation Expert

This is an exciting opportunity to become a key player in a specialist advisory team focused on economic regulation, policy reform, and sustainability within the energy sector.

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and contribute to projects involving network regulation, pricing, and performance. The ideal candidate will advise on regulatory resets, investment strategy, and compliance under national energy rules, delivering financial and economic analysis, including revenue modelling, WACC estimation, and forecasting.

  • Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on clients.
  • Engage with stakeholders across industry, government, and regulatory bodies.
  • Support reform initiatives and regulatory submissions.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to capability development.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years' experience in economic regulation, ideally within consulting, a regulatory agency, or a utility. A strong understanding of electricity transmission and distribution frameworks is essential, as well as skilled financial modelling tools such as PTRM and scenario analysis. Familiarity with the National Electricity Market and relevant legislation is also required.
