Disability Support Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team in providing assistance to individuals with challenging behaviors.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of others.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve client goals and provide support to individuals with traumatic brain injuries, acquired brain injuries, mental health, and intellectual disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing assistance to individuals with challenging behaviors
  • Supporting individuals with traumatic brain injuries, acquired brain injuries, mental health, and intellectual disabilities
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve client goals
Essential Qualifications:
  • Current full NSW driver's license
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Recent Working with Children's Check
  • NDIS worker check
  • Own vehicle and mobile phone, and ability to drive around Sydney
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Certificate 3 or 4 in Disability Care or Home and Community Care
  • Experience working with people from CALD backgrounds and/or people with complex needs
  • Experience in supporting individuals with challenging behaviors
  • Ability to speak a second language
  • Bowel care experience
  • Hoist experience
