Job Opportunity: Environmental Planning Specialist
">This is a challenging role that will provide the successful applicant with the opportunity to influence a broad range of environmental issues through undertaking environmental impact assessments and providing environmental advice, particularly as part of the strategic and statutory planning process.
">The ideal candidate will be a team player, with excellent communication skills and a clear analytical mind, strong problem-solving abilities, and advanced interpersonal skills.
">Key Responsibilities:

- Manage specific environmental projects, including the preparation of environmental management plans, strategies, and policies.">
- Undertake environmental impact assessments and provide environmental advice, particularly as part of the strategic and statutory planning process.">
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of planning legislation and its relationship to environmental legislation and/or environmental legislation and its applications through the planning system.">
- Prepare and review environmental management plans, reports, strategies, and policies.">
Required Skills and Qualifications:
">The successful applicant will require a comprehensive understanding of planning legislation and its relationship to environmental legislation and/or environmental legislation and its applications through the planning system.
">They will also need to have sound knowledge of environmental impact assessment in accordance with relevant legislation, as well as considerable experience in land use planning, environmental management, strategic planning, and/or environmental planning at the local, state, or federal level.
">Benefits:
">This position offers a salary from $99,138 to $106,623 per annum (dependent on skills and experience).
">In addition, we offer:

- 12% superannuation plus the opportunity to co-contribute up to 5% resulting in a total of 22%">
