Job Position: Sales Estimator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sales Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our commercial division, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with clients.

About the Role:

The Sales Estimator is responsible for downloading tender documents and schedules, ascertaining items that our company can supply, and sending suppliers a copy of the schedule. You will also be required to follow up with suppliers for goods, obtain their quote, and enter all items into our pricing system. Additionally, you will need to maintain professional contact with internal and external stakeholders and follow security procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Download tender documents and schedules from various sources.
  • Determine which items we can supply based on our product offerings.
  • Send suppliers a copy of the schedule outlining the requirements.
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Obtain quotes from suppliers and enter them into our pricing system.
  • Maintain accurate records of supplier communications and deliveries.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a similar capacity or strong retail sales experience.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in software applications.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to work well under pressure and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
