Responsibilities:
  • Support the manufacturing facility through continuous quality improvement and minimize business risk through systematic approaches to Quality.
  • Work closely with Production Managers, Supervisors, and team members to ensure compliance to Quality systems at all times.
  • Educate and assist the team to understand food safety and quality requirements.
  • Promote and drive influence of a quality culture within the business.

Key Performance Indicators:
  • Monitor operations quality and food safety performance against key performance indicators.
  • Recommend actions to continuously improve performance.
  • Conduct internal audits on system elements to ensure compliance to company requirements.

Requirements:
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • At least 2-3 years previous experience in a Quality Assurance role in a fast-paced and dynamic FMCG environment.
  • Formal qualifications in Food Science.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with people at all levels.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • A passion for food, a passion for quality, and a drive to exceed customer expectations.
