About the Team

The AusIndustry Division provides essential services to small and medium-sized businesses across NSW and QLD.

We serve as a valuable hub, nurturing partnerships, networks, and connections to navigate local, state, and federal government support for businesses.

The Opportunity

This position seeks highly competent individuals who can establish trusted relationships with First Nations businesses, stakeholders, and government agencies.

The purpose is to raise the quality of support for First Nations businesses, encouraging growth and increasing trust between businesses and government.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building trusted relationships to increase service uptake and funding opportunities.
  • Increasing First Nations business engagement with government services and funding opportunities.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Creating and strengthening relationships with internal and external stakeholders for quality referrals to First Nations businesses.
  • Providing on-ground intelligence and case studies to improve First Nations business access into government.
  • Supporting Regional Managers to build stronger overall engagement with First Nations businesses and cultural awareness.

You will be passionate about improving growth opportunities for First Nations businesses and have a good understanding of their needs and sensitivities.

You must be able to represent a sound position with confidence, considering multiple perspectives.

Requirements

High competence in First Nations cultural communication and engagement is essential.

Existing networks with First Nations businesses and stakeholders are required to leverage strong relationships.
