Support Worker - Community and Recreation

About the Role

We are seeking Support Workers to join our team in Community and Recreation, where you will work closely with adults with disability to achieve their goals and live independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support clients with daily living and personal care needs, including meal preparation and personal hygiene
  • Accompany clients to appointments, events, and recreational activities
  • Assist clients with shopping and household tasks
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support clients' goals and aspirations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A positive attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Effective communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
  • A willingness to work collaboratively as part of a diverse team
  • Availability to work 2-4 days per week
  • Australian Driver Licence
  • The right to work in Australia
  • A Certificate IV in Disability or relevant experience
