We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our sales efforts and drive growth across key national accounts, especially with leading retailers.
This is a leadership role within a leading FMCG household brand, requiring a dynamic individual with proven success in national account management and deep understanding of retail channels.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of developing and executing national sales strategies to meet company goals and increase revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute national sales strategies to meet company goals and increase revenue.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve targets; manage category review processes for all categories with key customers.
- Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts, focusing on retail channels.
- Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate profitable agreements with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Sales Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Business Development: Conduct market research to identify new customers and market opportunities.
- 5-7 years of National Account Management experience in grocery, with existing relationships with leading retailers and knowledge of retail channels.
- Tertiary qualification in Business/Commerce or related field.
- Strong relationship-building, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
- Business acumen with a focus on continuous improvement and problem-solving.
- Ability to handle complexity, detail, and deadlines; process-driven with customer focus.

- Exposure to multiple teams and levels within the company.
