As a Residential Services Assistant, you will play a vital role in the Central Allocations Unit - Casual Bank at Grampians Health. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain accurate availability in our electronic rostering system and accept shifts based on your schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate availability in our electronic rostering system
- Accept shifts based on your schedule
- Work autonomously in the kitchen setting up meal services where allocated
- Prepare resident meals based on individual dietary requirements
- Maintain safe food handling practices and records
- Ensure the dining area remains safe and welcoming for residents
- Clean and laundry duties are facility-dependent
- Participate in annual performance reviews
- Commit to ongoing mandatory education
Requirements:
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to prioritise work
- Capacity to work with limited supervision
- Demonstrated person-centred care approach
- Respectful attitude towards patients, visitors, and staff
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
