About the RoleThe Clinical Nurse Consultant provides direct and indirect care as required, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver safe quality mental health care through exemplary clinical nursing standards.
Main Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring best practice and evidence-based guidelines are followed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans that meet individual needs.
- Contribute to the development and review of policies and procedures related to mental health care.
- Participate in education and training programs to stay up-to-date with best practices and new developments in the field.
- A relevant tertiary degree qualification and current registration/licence.
- A postgraduate qualification or current enrollment in a postgraduate program in a relevant area of study is highly desirable.
- C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
- Pre-employment screening will be conducted, including Criminal History checks.
- Evidence of vaccination or immunity to certain diseases may be required.
