ICT Procurement and Contract Management Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced ICT procurement and contract manager to oversee end-to-end procurement processes for ICT-related goods and services.

Responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with public sector regulations and procurement policies, developing and negotiating contracts, collaborating with stakeholders, and providing expert advice on procurement strategies and market trends.

Requirements for the role include proven experience in ICT procurement and contract management within the public sector, a strong understanding of public sector procurement policies and compliance requirements, excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills, and proficiency in procurement software and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes for ICT-related goods and services.
  • Ensure compliance with public sector regulations and procurement policies.
  • Develop and negotiate contracts to achieve optimal value for the organisation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify procurement requirements and timelines.
  • Monitor contract performance and address any issues or risks proactively.
  • Provide expert advice on procurement strategies and market trends.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and reporting documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement and supply chain department.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in ICT procurement and contract management within the public sector.
  • Strong understanding of public sector procurement policies and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and make informed procurement decisions.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • A tertiary qualification in procurement, supply chain, or a related field is desirable.
