Advanced Perioperative Nurse Consultant Position

About the Role
As a key member of the Perioperative Services team, the Advanced Nurse Consultant will be responsible for leading and managing the Quality, Safety, and Risk Portfolios within the Perioperative Services at SALHN.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will oversee the development and monitoring of procedures and protocols related to perioperative services. They will create and maintain an audit schedule, ensure the PDSA cycle is effective, and facilitate the identification and management of risks.
Additionally, the Advanced Nurse Consultant will maintain collaborative relationships with level 3 and level 4 Nurses, as well as other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Effective leadership and communication skills
- Experience as a leader or manager in the healthcare industry
- Registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and a current practicing certificate
- Experience in managing complex projects and delivering high-quality care
