Assistant Store Manager Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Assistant Store Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer service, achieving operational objectives, and adhering to company policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will assume all responsibilities of a Customer Service Representative and assist the Store Manager with daily store operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain high standards of customer service within the store and foster relationships with customers.
  • Create a strong customer-centric culture within the store.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop strategies that meet store goals and objectives.
  • Recruit, develop, and motivate store team members who consistently exceed internal and external customer expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Analyze financial statements and trends to boost sales.
  • Promote the store within the community to increase market share and revenue.
  • Resolve customer complaints to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Manage schedules, cash handling, and store audits.
  • Stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures by reviewing Operations Bulletins, News communications, and training materials.
  • Mainatin a clean and organized store environment for customers and employees.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of one year of management experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, and restaurant.
  • The ability to engage with customers, build positive relationships, and communicate effectively.
  • A strong desire to excel in meeting company initiatives and inspire excellence in a team.
  • A professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Honesty and integrity.
  • The flexibility to work early morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • English fluency is required; English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Lifting up to 15 lbs. with minimal assistance.
  • Working in confined spaces and maintaining concentration in a busy environment with moderate to high noise levels.
  • Managing multiple tasks simultaneously and handling frequent interruptions.
