Job Overview:

The Retail Store Leader plays a pivotal role in the success of a retail store. They are responsible for driving sales growth, managing expenses and inventory, training and developing the store team, human resources management, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set the tone for high-quality performance from retail store staff by leading by example.
  • Maintain adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Model leadership skills to inspire commitment to store goals and training standards.
  • Aid in recruitment, selection, training, and development of store personnel.
  • Contribute to annual performance evaluations for all store employees.
  • Collaborate with senior management to manage expenses and develop strategies that meet business requirements.
  • Monitor and identify issues related to loss or shrinkage to maintain store shrink within acceptable levels.
  • Ensure operational compliance, safety, and business standards across all areas of the store.
  • Support employee training in effective selling and merchandising techniques.
  • Maintain exceptional customer service standards to create a welcoming environment for every customer.
  • Participate in regular merchandise inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in retail management.
  • Solid knowledge of business with excellent English language communication skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills to handle sensitive situations.
  • Ability to think strategically, plan, and organize effectively.
  • Maintain professionalism in all situations.
  • Strong analytical ability to gather and summarize data for reports.
  • Results-driven with critical and creative thinking skills.
  • Discretion, confidentiality, and independent judgment with diplomacy.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
