Part-time Event Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced event coordinator to join our team. The role involves coordinating a busy calendar of events, managing sponsorship packages, coordinating event sponsors and speakers, social media marketing, finance management, and ensuring the overall success of our events.
About the Role- Coordinate events from planning to execution, ensuring seamless delivery
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, including event sponsors and speakers
- Manage finances, including budgeting and expense tracking
- Develop and implement social media marketing strategies to promote events
- At least 5 years' experience in event coordination or marketing
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with EDM tools like Mailchimp, Wordpress, LinkedIn and other social media platforms
- Part-time position, 20 hours per week
- Mainly remote work, with occasional on-site work in Hobart
- Flexibility to negotiate working hours to suit your needs
- Opportunity to bring sparkle to our events
