Event Manager Role

At our luxury resort, we are seeking an experienced Event Manager to lead the planning and execution of high-profile events. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless event delivery, exceeding client expectations, and promoting exceptional guest experiences.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including venue setup, catering, equipment, and vendor management
  • Develop tailored event plans in consultation with clients, ensuring their unique needs are met
  • Lead a dedicated team to deliver exceptional service standards and smooth daily operations
  • Maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient communication and timely resolution of issues
  • Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and provide regular financial updates to clients
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience and make recommendations for venue improvements
  • Support the wider team with various administrative and operational tasks as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar events/venue coordination role, preferably within the hospitality or tourism industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with a proven ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work autonomously at times, as well as within a team
  • A keen eye for detail and a solutions-focused approach to problem solving
  • Proficiency with event management software and MS Office suite
