About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as an Assistant Border Force Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for representing the Australian Border Force in frontline operational areas, dealing directly with members of the public including foreign travellers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the Australian Border Force in frontline operational areas
  • Deal directly with members of the public including foreign travellers
  • Perform duties in a fast-paced, high volume operating environment
  • Exercise lawful authority efficiently and appropriately
  • Be flexible and adaptable

Requirements

  • Australian Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Vetting (AGSVA) security clearance and an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC)
  • Willingness to wear the Australian Border Force uniform
  • Ability to attain and maintain mandatory training requirements
